The Akasha are a higher being in Second Stair which handles the judgment of actions and crimes within Second Stair. Very little is known about the Akasha. Lakasha appears to be beneath them in terms of ranking since she explains that she cannot break certain rules without the Akasha delivering judgment. The Akasha becomes disappointed with Second Stair after its destruction following the Great and summons the Doom in order to finish the planet off. The SoulWorkers and the connected wills of the worlds are able to fend against and the Akasha becomes slowly interested in the planet. It continually summons the Doom in order to test the planet's strength.
Akasha is known to have the ability to make people forget their torments.
