Avon is a member of the 21st Starry Forest Squad Battalion and ex-member of the LXT Reserach Unit as well as being a former member of the Orca unit that serves directly under the command of the Lords. Unlike many other characters that appear during the course of the game, he's actually from the East Cloudstream and was born there, but because he eventually got tired from following the Lords orders and using everyone at their disposal as just tools, he decided to move out to the West where their ideals and desire to help humanity aligned more with him.

During the Ruin Fortress arc, he appears for the first time as the leader positioned to investigate the place, but his own suggestions and remarks are sometimes ignored by his own allies because of his joking attitude, but he prefers to act that way as he doesn't really like to use his authority to make others work more than needed, even though sometimes it might make others believe he's just lazy. Once the player and the rest of the members find the Blood Soulworkers there, he was the only one to suspect Abel immediately and was not surprised once Abel revealed the truth to the party. After the incident ended, he made sure to hide the existence of the Blood Soulworkers so that they could live in peace without having to hide from the NED Company and the SFL, while shortly after was appointed to move out to the Grasscover Camp and act as the new commander there.

In the Grasscover Camp arc, he still acts in his usual demeanor while not wanting for the player to overwork himself or herself, and he's later reminded of the war that occurred 15 years ago led by the legendary Soulworker Tenebris, as he appears as a form of spirit there that can't get out. He's shown to heavily despise what happened and doesn't want something like that to happen ever again, and was able to save Amanda after she was being affected by the great amounts of Desire energy in the Void by convincing her that she would never use her as a tool nor as just another Supernatural put to work.
