As the war continued, SoulWorkers and SoulForcers began to grow tired of being used as tools for the Starry Forest League. Tenebris, the strongest SoulWorker of that time, leads a rebellion formed by a coalition of SoulWorkers called the Serenade Guild. The majority of Starry Forest aligned SoulWorkers joined the guild except for two. The Guild fought to ensure better rights and treatment within the Starry Forest League and were able to breach Grace City's final line. As the Grace City appeared to fall against the Guild, a golden light appears and the Serenade Guild is eliminated leaving Veneris and Maverick as the war's survivors.
The reality of the event was that Lakasha eliminated the Serenade Guild since she was fearful about an organized group of SinWorkers forming as the SoulWorkers appeared were being manipulated. The aftermath of the event severely weakened the Starry Forest League as there were left with only 2-3 SoulWorkers, and Maverick begins to lose his powers due to the traumatic event. Maverick was hailed as a hero for the event and the Starry Forest League believed that the SoulWorkers were swallowed into the Void since it expanded further due to Lakasha's intervention. The western forces begin to improve treatment of SoulForcers due to the loss of the SoulWorkers but the Lords are unfazed by the rebellion's cause. Unknown to the Starry Forest League, Tenebris was able to survive the blast and begins to plot his revenge against the Starry Forest League.
