Grace City is the third city region that can be visited in the game. Chapter 3 and the West War arc take place in this area. The City is constantly under the threat of the Firestream Battalion.

Background[]

Grace City was the first city that was built after the appearance of the Great Void and is a symbolization of humanity's hope. It is one of the few places in Cloudream where the blue sky is still visible. Due to the symbolic importance of the city, the Starry Forest League provides many resources to help defend it. The official commander of Grace City is technically Hifu but the leadership is handled by Toru due to Hifi's old age. Grace City serves as the main headquarters for the Western Cloudream forces.

A majority of the Grace City's systems are powered by the Great Grace Tower which serves as a command post and a control tower which is only deployed during times of great crisis. In the past, Grace City was the same as the other areas of the Starry Forest League who treated SoulForcers and SoulWorkers as tools and led to the rebellion of the Serenade Guild. The tower was deployed during this time period since the rebel SoulWorkers were close to capturing the city. Due to Lakasha's intervention, the rebels were stopped and Grace City was saved at the cost of losing almost of all of its SoulWorkers. The Starry Forest League in Grace City begins to treat the remaining SoulWorker and SoulForcer better as a result of the rebellion unlike the other regions.

The city's defense is a major concern for both NED Company and the Starry Forest League where the two were able to temporarily put aside differences during the West War arc.
