For the class advancement page, see Desireworker. This page is about the lore setting.

A SinWorker (데자이어워커 Desireworker) is a person who is able to accumulate a large amount of SinForce while selfishly fulfilling their own desires. They are the SinForce equivalent of a SoulWorker and are able to create SoulWeapons. These beings will retain some form of reason but will slowly lose their reasoning to become bloodthirsty murderers. The mindset of a SinWorker is described being trapped inside closed box with all other voices being blocked off only to be to trapped of fulfilling a single wish. It is not entirely impossible but difficult for a SinWorker to become a SoulWorker. Likewise, it is possible for a SoulWorker or SoulForcer to become a SinWorker as well.

The SinWorkers were feared in the Great Void due to the greater supernatural power they possessed. Erwin noted while Haru was using a wooden sword, she could have been able to seriously injure her opponent. During the Grasscover Camp arc, Kant fails to mass produce an army of SinWorkers.

Stages[]

There appears to multiple stages of a SinWorker classification.

Stage 1: Zombie (Failures)[]

Those who are unable to handle Kant's SinForce become zombies and devoid of reason. These SinWorkers make up the enemies found in Dead Meat Factory.

Stage 2: Controlled[]

These SinWorkers were the main point of Kant's experiments in Grasscover Camp. Kant considered these SinWorkers to be as powerful as a normal SoulWorker but these SinWorkers do not appear to have any self will and only obey Kant's orders. Ladi and Garmenter are the only known SinWorkers in this category.

Stage 3: Natural SinWorkers[]

These SinWorkers appear by naturally absorbing SinForce due to an explosive amount of negative emotions. These SinWorkers are still able to maintain reason but may have personality or mental disorders by following their ambitions.

Stage 4: Completion[]

A completed SinWorker is a person who fully gives into their desires and loses all reasoning only to become a bloodthirsty monster. They are also referred to as a perfect SinWorker. Lakasha was fearful of an organized group of completed SinWorkers and intervened on two occasions to stop their threat. The well known commpleted SinWorkers are the main characters except for Chii and Ephnel.
