Upon the appearance of the Great Void, the Bashai witnessed the destruction of their homeland and landed into an unknown land. Unable to ascertain the events that have occured, the Bashai and humanity blame one other for their world's destruction. Humanity is pushed to the brink due to the Bashai's supernatural powers from SinForce. However, a new enemy, SoulDregs appears, and both sides put aside their differences and exchange information. At this time, Ladi and the SoulForcers descended from the Great Void to aid humanity. With Ladi's leadership, the Starry Forest League was founded and NED Company was able to become humanity's second greatest force. The Starry Forest League attempts to create a peace agreement with the Bashai but Ladi was assassinated. Angered with the loss of their leader, the peace talks break down and the Great Bashai war resumes once more.
